This employee provides instructional services to students under the general supervision of a certified teacher in the Aspire program.

Responsibilities include working with pupils or groups of pupils on special projects; providing teacher with information about pupils that will assist teacher in the development of appropriate learning experiences; assisting pupils in the use of available instructional resources and assisting in instructional programs in various subject areas.

Minimum acceptable training and experience: Level I Teaching Assistant Certificate.

This candidate shall have attained a high school diploma or its equivalent.

The certificate shall be valid for three years from its effective date.
