The Division of Biomedical and Translational Sciences at the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine invites applications for an Academic Biomedical Science Educator to teach Human Medical Physiology. This is a 12-month position, tenure track. Degree requirement: Ph.D. in Medical Physiology or closely related field OR Professional Degree at the doctoral level in the healthcare field. Applicants must have experience teaching systems Physiology to health science professionals (MD, PA, PT, OT students). Previous experience with problem-based/active learning pedagogy in a health sciences context is desired. Salary will be commensurate with training and experience.
The USD Sanford School of Medicine has announced the move of the first 18 months of the M.D. program and the Division of Biomedical & Translational Sciences from Vermillion to Sioux Falls. Travel between sites may be required until the move is complete.
