Overview
GovCIO is currently hiring aLinux Administratorthat will provide service desk, application and security management services for the Unified Jury Management System (UJMS). The analyst will be required to have troubleshooting, analytical, and decision-making skills to provide support and resolution to end-user issues or questions. The incumbent will provide operational and technical support to resolve software application, security, and technical issues associated with UJMS. This position is located in the United States and will be a full remote position.
Responsibilities
Provide Tier 1 & 2 support for UJMS
Utilize ITSM tool to create or track issues/requests
Provide timely updates to tickets
Perform remote troubleshooting
Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by user
Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support
Ensure proper recording, documentation, and closure for each issue
Follow up with users, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution
Preserve and grow the knowledge base for supported applications
Review and provide recommendations regarding application instructional or procedural documentation
Provide application support and system administration support services to include management of hardware, operating systems, databases, and software applications
Conduct IT application and security management activities
Qualifications
Bachelor's with 5 - 8 years (or commensurate experience)
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum 5 years of IT work experience
Experience supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7 or higher software applications
Experience with Apache Tomcat
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Strong understanding of troubleshooting IT issues
Flexibility and adaptability to handle different product service calls
Good verbal and written communication skills
Clearance Required: Must be able to acquire and maintain an AOUSC Public Trust
Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience with ServiceNow
Software application management experience
Network security experience
Understanding of ITIL best practices
Background in Federal appellate, district and bankruptcy court operations
Court experience with case management and/or jury management applications
CompTIA Linux+ or Linux Professional Institute LPIC-1 certification

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

USD $100,000.00 - USD $125,000.00 /Yr.
