ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; however, other duties may be assigned as needed: * Responsible for planning and finishing all painting needs for the school division * Performs carpentry, repair of equipment, and other building tasks * Repair/service locks, keys, closures, and other door hardware * Operates a variety of automotive and landscaping equipment * Mows, seeds, fertilizes lawns, trims and maintains shrubbery and flower beds * Performs snow removal at all building sites * Assists with custodial type duties when needed * Performs related duties as assigned by Supervisor of Maintenance SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None Salary - $36,656 - $58,788 (Placement on the Maintenance Salary Scale depends on experience) EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
