Membership Enrollment and Billing Specialist

Job Summary:

Join our dynamic team as a Membership Enrollment and Billing Specialist! In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing enrollment and billing for our members. Your responsibilities will include verifying enrollment status, updating records, addressing client inquiries, and resolving billing issues, all while ensuring a seamless experience for our members.

Essential Responsibilities:

Communicate effectively with both internal teams and clients to resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Process and maintain accurate membership data while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Conduct various billing and reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy.

Create and distribute informative membership and billing materials.

Meet performance metrics and service level agreements consistently.

Perform research to ensure comprehensive issue resolution.

Undertake additional duties as assigned to meet departmental goals.

Important:

Work Hours: 11:30 am - 8 pm EST

Citizenship Requirement: Must be a US Citizen

Work Environment: This position operates in a call center setting.

Education:

Required:

High school diploma / GED

Preferred:

Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field

Experience:

Required:

3 years of relevant experience in billing, enrollment, or customer service.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred:

Experience in finance, healthcare, or previous enrollment and billing roles.

Skills:

Strong financial aptitude and customer service skills.

High attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.

Proficient in 10-key data entry with speed and accuracy.

Basic accounting knowledge and the ability to reconcile information.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze issues.

Ability to multitask and respond promptly and professionally to inquiries.

Capable of maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment.

Physical, Mental Demands, and Working Conditions:

This is an office-based role where occasional light lifting (up to 25 pounds) may be required. The work environment will be fast-paced and requires regular engagement with technology and communication systems.

Salary Range: $19.27 - $27.42 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
