CNC Machine Operator

Thomasville, GA $18.00 / Hour

A manufacturing company is looking for a CNC Machine Operator to be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC and/or EDM machinery to produce high-quality parts that meet precise specifications. This role involves performing in-process quality inspections using precision measuring tools, following all safety and quality standards, and accurately managing work orders. The CNC Machine Operator also performs routine machine maintenance, including cleaning and restocking materials, to ensure efficient, safe, and reliable production operations.

Responsibilities

Setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC and/or EDM machinery.

Performing in-process quality inspections using precision measuring equipment (e.g., micrometers, calipers, height stands, and indicators).

Following all quality assurance and safety procedures to ensure a safe and productive work environment.

Managing and completing work orders accurately and efficiently.

Performing routine machine maintenance, such as cleaning and restocking materials, to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements

Be able to lift and move 50 pounds

Previous manufacturing experience

High School Diploma or GED

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high quality work

Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn

Self motivated and dependable

Ability to work effectively during your shift

Ability to work around loud noises

Clean drug screen

Willing to undergo criminal background check

Location: Thomasville, Georgia

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2nd or 3rd shift
