Shift/Pay: 4 Days a week Monday-Thursday

Job Description
As a Machine Operator on the 2nd shift, you will operate various machines, including laminators, re-winders, and roller machines. You will be responsible for multiple tasks related to the processing and handling of materials in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Operate and tend to machinery that cuts, laminates, and layers paper products.
Hang rolls, slab materials, and wrap materials for processing.
Record running conditions and process changes accurately.
Ensure materials are running within specifications and maintain accurate records.
Care for tooling and equipment during the setup of woven materials.
Inspect materials and assist other operators as needed.
Pack and label machined materials for shipping.
Maintain housekeeping and all safety requirements in the work area.
Skills
Experience in machine operation and general labor.
Ability to read and interpret work orders.
Basic math skills and measuring abilities, including reading a tape measure.
Forklift experience is required.
Mechanically inclined with the ability to perform minor troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a production/manufacturing facility for at least 1 year.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift 20-30 lbs throughout the day.
Basic computer skills, equivalent to operating a smartphone.
Good problem-solving skills and a team player mentality.
Willingness to help in various areas as needed.

Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 2 PM to 12 AM, in an industrial manufacturing and paper converting environment. You must be comfortable working around large machinery. The warehouse is cool in the winter and very warm during the summer months. With around 100 employees, the company maintains a close-knit community, and the owner is actively involved onsite three days a week.Job Type & Location

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
