Senior Project Manager – Commercial Construction

Location: Columbus, OH

Salary: $135,000 to $155,000 + full benefits + full relocation paid

A highly respected commercial builder in Ohio is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale ground-up projects across healthcare, industrial, education, mixed-use, and commercial markets. This is a major growth hire with strong long-term career potential.

What You’ll Lead

Full project lifecycle from preconstruction through closeout

Schedule, budget, subcontractor management, and project forecasting

Oversee site teams including Superintendents, APMs, and PE’s

Review drawings, coordinate RFIs/submittals, and manage project documentation

Maintain strong client communication to ensure expectations are met

Lead progress meetings, safety processes, and quality control initiatives

Drive project delivery to meet profitability targets and timeline goals

Partner closely with Precon and Estimating teams during handoff

What You Bring

7+ years project management experience with a GC or CM firm

Background in commercial, industrial, institutional, or mixed-use projects

Experience managing projects $15M–$100M+

Strong leadership skills and ability to manage large site teams

Proficiency with Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, and other construction tools

Excellent communication and client-facing skills
