Manufacturing Production OperatorPosition Overview
We are seeking dependable Production Operators to support operations within a manufacturing environment. This role involves working with materials and equipment used to produce industrial products, including operating sewing or related machinery, completing assembly tasks, and ensuring finished items meet quality standards. This position offers an opportunity to train across multiple production areas.Key Responsibilities
Handle pre cut materials and prepare components for production processes
Operate machinery or related production equipment as assigned
Assemble, finish, and prepare products according to work instructions
Inspect finished items to ensure quality and identify defects
Stage, package, or move completed products to the next production step
Record production counts and time as required
Perform basic care and upkeep of equipment and work areas
Follow safety, quality, and production procedures consistentlyRequired Skills
Experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial environments
Ability to perform hands on, repetitive tasks throughout the shift
Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs
Comfortable standing, sitting, pushing, pulling, and moving materials
Reliable attendance and ability to work in a team settingPreferred Qualifications
Experience operating machinery and production equipment
Experience in general labor, assembly, and packaging
Willingness to train and support multiple production departments

Schedule is Monday–Thursday, approximately 5:00/5:30am–4:00pm
Optional Friday shifts may be available

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ottawa, KS.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
