Job Description
MAITRA ASSOCIATES, P.C., a multi-discipline engineering/CM firm celebrating over 40 years of practice, has immediate openings for Resident Engineers to join our Team for major bridge/highway projects commencing in April 2026. Projects will involve inspection of highway reconstruction, asphalt milling and resurfacing, bridge replacement/ rehabilitation, and roadway drainage projects. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Resident Engineer and P.E. license or NICET IV Certification required.
Responsibilities:
Supervise inspection personnel and subconsultants.
Interface with Client, project inspectors, contractors, and design consultants,
Maintain high standards of workmanship conforming to contract plans and specifications,
Negotiate with contractors
Requirements
P.E. License or NICET IV
Minimum 5 years' experience in Resident Engineering overseeing bridge/highway construction projects of $10 million or more.
Good computer and writing skills.
Ability to take charge and manage a field staff of 5 or more inspectors.
Strong leadership qualities
