Business Rules Developer

Job Description

ComResource is looking for a Business Rules Developer.

We need someone to assist in developing and supporting business rules and applications while ensuring system performance and reliability.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and support software applications

Implement code following best practices and coding guidelines

Research and stay current on relevant technologies and trends

Develop flows, rule sets, and forms within a rules engine platform

Identify and reduce development risks, performance issues, and downtime

Maintain a strong understanding of business functions and processes

Provide high levels of customer support

Collaborate professionally with team members and stakeholders

Perform other related duties as assigned

Essentials:

2+ years of experience with TSQL, including stored procedures and database queries

Experience developing within a rules engine or low-code platform

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively

Understanding of software development best practices

Desired:

Experience with Decisions platform or similar low-code tools

Experience in Commercial P&C Insurance

Willingness to learn and be trained on new technologies
