Job Summary
As a Senior Chef Manager, you’ll take the lead in overseeing both back- and front-of-house operations, driving an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. You’ll have the opportunity to shape a high-quality culinary program while managing key business operations, including financial reporting, menu innovation, inventory, purchasing, and cost controls. This role is perfect for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building, mentoring, and developing a strong team. Key Responsibilities:
Carries out supervisory responsibilities following the organization’s policies and applicable laws
Participates in employee meetings and training programs
Conducts safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs
Maintains food costs while ensuring quality standards
Maintains an active role in leading team development
Handles purchasing and inventory controls
Performs related duties and special projects as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
Flexible, as the work schedule may include weekends/holidays
A degree in Culinary Arts is helpful or equivalent professional experience
Five years of multifaceted culinary management experience
Self-starter, innovative, and able to multitask
Maintains a positive demeanor under pressure and empowers the team
Must possess a passion for excellence
Must be knowledgeable on HACCP controls along with accurate storage and use of food
Purchasing, food storage, and sanitation experience
P&L and financial reporting experience
Knowledge of budgets, labor costs, and inventory controls
Strong leadership, mentor, and training skills
Digital literacy, proficient in Microsoft Office and POS
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding business etiquette and client relations
Ability to lift, bend, and carry up to 40 lbs
Knowledge of safe and sanitary food handling principles
Conformity to the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behavior
ServSafe or Department of Health certification is a plus
