Junior High Agricultural Science Teacher

Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree from accredited university. Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned. Demonstrated competency in the subject area assigned.

2026-2027 School Year

Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of subject assigned. General knowledge of curriculum and instruction. Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Courses Taught: Animal Science Pathway

Position Requirements:

Train LDE/CDE/SDE teams

Experience in record book system

Travel to various FFA activities statewide (Camps, Competitions, Stock Shows, and Conventions)

Supervise livestock and/or other SAE projects - School Ag Farm

Must work well in a multi teacher department (3 high school/1 middle school teacher)

Ag trucks and Trailers available

**Very supportive administration and community
