Security Officer -- Construction Site

Job Description

First In Security is accepting applications for licensed security officers for an upcoming large-scale construction site assignment in the Central Texas — Waco/Hillsboro area. This is a long-term position with consistent hours and a professional work environment.

What You Will Be Doing

Staffing entrance gate positions and controlling site access

Conducting roving patrols of the site perimeter and interior areas

Verifying credentials and managing authorized entry and exit

Documenting incidents, observations, and daily activity in written reports

Communicating professionally with contractors, vendors, and site management

Responding to site emergencies and coordinating with the site team as needed

What We Are Looking For

Valid Texas Security License (DPS Level II or higher) — required - Start your individual application to be a security guard - TOPS

Clear criminal background check — required

Reliable transportation to and from the work site — required

Prior construction site security experience — strongly preferred

Professional appearance and strong communication skills

Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods outdoors in all weather conditions

Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently

Shift Availability

Day shift, night shift, and overnight rotating shifts available

Full-time positions — consistent weekly hours

Long-term assignment

Compensation

$19–$21 per hour based on experience and qualifications

Overtime and holiday pay available
