House Supervisor- RN

Troy Regional is seeking to fill the position of Full-Time House Supervisor. The Nursing House Supervisor provides leadership and oversight to ensure safe, high-quality patient care and efficient operations across nursing units. This role supports staff, coordinates resources, and promotes a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support nursing staff, promoting patient safety, service excellence, and teamwork

Ensure appropriate staffing based on patient acuity and established guidelines

Provide hands-on assistance to nursing units as needed

Conduct routine rounding to monitor operations and enhance patient and family satisfaction

Respond to emergencies and make timely, sound decisions

Support orientation and development of new staff

Participate in Supervisor/Clinical Manager meetings

Maintain clinical competency and serve as a resource for staff

Uphold organizational standards, policies, and values

Foster a respectful, professional environment for patients, visitors, and staff

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alabama

Minimum of 4 years of nursing experience in a hospital environment (leadership experience preferred)

Strong clinical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
