**Role Overview**

This contingent role supports moderately complex Specialty Software Engineering initiatives by designing, building, and delivering modern full-stack applications and generative AI solutions. You will work across frontend, backend, and cloud environments while contributing to large-scale planning, solution design, and cross-team collaboration. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in fast-moving environments and can rapidly iterate on emerging AI technologies.

**Locations:** Columbus, OH (preferred); Dallas, TX or Charlotte, NC for exceptional candidates

**Key Responsibilities**

**Full-Stack Application Development**

- Design and develop single-page applications using **Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript**, and modern frameworks such as **React.js, Next.js, Tailwind, Bootstrap**, and related libraries.

- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications across frontend and backend layers.

- Own features end-to-end, from technical design through deployment and production support.

**Generative AI Solution Engineering**

- Build and deploy generative AI applications using **ADK, OpenAI Agent Frameworks, LangChain, LangGraph**, and similar tools.

- Design agentic workflows, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) components, and AI-powered application features.

- Integrate LLM-based capabilities into enterprise systems with a focus on reliability, safety, and performance.

**Enterprise & Cloud Engineering**

- Develop enterprise-grade solutions with strong attention to scalability, security, and maintainability.

- Deploy AI and full-stack applications on public cloud platforms (2+ years of experience required).

- Collaborate with architecture, platform, and engineering teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.

**Agility & Iterative Delivery**

- Rapidly prototype, iterate, and refine solutions in response to evolving requirements.

- Demonstrate strong ownership, adaptability, and the ability to deliver at speed.

- Contribute to planning, problem-solving, and cross-team collaboration within Specialty Software Engineering.

**Required Qualifications**

- **5+ years** of full-stack development experience building single-page applications using Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern UI frameworks (React.js, Next.js, Tailwind, Bootstrap, etc.).

- **2+ years** of hands-on experience building generative AI applications using ADK, OpenAI Agent Frameworks, LangChain, LangGraph, or similar tools.

- **5+ years** of enterprise application development experience with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.

- **2+ years** of experience deploying AI or full-stack solutions on public cloud platforms.

- Strong ability to iterate quickly, adapt to changing requirements, and deliver high-quality solutions independently.
