POS Systems Analyst

Position Summary

Our client is hiring a POS Systems Analyst (Hybrid - Columbus, OH) to support and maintain Point-of-Sale systems used across retail locations. This role focuses on troubleshooting POS issues, assisting with system deployments, and supporting store operations. Candidates should have experience with POS platforms and a technical mindset, with SQL experience considered a plus.

Primary Responsibilities

Provide support for daily POS operations, hardware, software, and store technology

Assist with POS upgrades, installations, and implementation projects

Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and support resolution activities

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure stable and reliable store systems

Use SQL to validate data or assist with technical analysis (if applicable)

Maintain system documentation, user guides, and support processes

Assist with testing, configuration, and change management for POS environments Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on POS system experience

Experience supporting POS implementations or rollouts is preferred

SQL knowledge is a plus

Strong problem-solving abilities and technical troubleshooting skills

Experience in retail environments or support teams is helpful
