A little about the job
Perform a variety of patient care activities to assist physicians providing direct patient care and maintaining proper standards of quality.
Qualifications for the job...
High school education required.
Must have minimum one year experience in healthcare setting, preferably in a clinic setting.
Specialized technical training of one to two years preferred.
CPR certification required.
Must have knowledge of examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures; knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care; knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
Must possess skill in taking vital signs, maintaining records and recording test results.
Must be able to establish and maintain working relationships with patients, medical staff and public.
Must be able to read, understand and respond to detailed oral and written instruction; communicate clearly and maintain quality control standards.
