Overview

Physical Therapy Assistant, LTC – travel assignment in Clancy, Montana. Start date 04/06/2026 for a 13-week assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Weekly pay ranges from $1,056 to $1,147. Shift: Monday–Friday. Employment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment in a long-term care facility (nursing home). This role involves providing PTA-level services under supervision in a resident-centered setting.

Responsibilities

- Deliver PTA-directed therapy under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist for residents in a long-term care setting.

- Implement treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, range of motion routines, and manual techniques as directed.

- Monitor patient responses, document progress, and communicate changes to the supervising PT.

- Instruct residents and families on home exercise programs, safety, and fall-prevention strategies.

- Assist with transfers, mobility tasks, and activities of daily living within the care plan.

- Maintain a clean, organized treatment area and ensure equipment is safe and properly stored.

Requirements

- Eligible to work in the United States

- Ability to work in a long-term care setting

- Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to follow treatment plans under supervision and document accurately

- Monday–Friday availability

- Prior experience as a physical therapy assistant in a long-term care environment preferred
