As a Behavior Specialist, you will:

Participate in the development and implementation of Behavior Support Plans

Collect and analyzing data on the effectiveness of Behavior Support Plans

Adjust or revise support strategies

Monitor and train staff and caregivers on implementation strategies

Submit required documentation to Behavior Consultants

Travel as needed (20 - 50 mile radius)

In order to be eligible for this role, you should have:

A minimum of a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology or any other related fields

At least 5 years of experience in a role involving the support of individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities

A valid driver's license, along with access to reliable transportation

Ability to travel a 20-50 mile radius, as needed

Availability to work both day and weekend shifts

Professional written and verbal communication skills

Ability to identify, develop and execute effective training methods

Compliance with background check requirements, as required by state laws
