Sr. Product Engineer

Technical contact for GMM Door programs.

During design/development phase, work with Inteva team to create and manage design/engineering open issue list, by part, to support closure of build and/or manufacturability concerns.

Participate in internal and external build events and meetings: provide feedback for product and/or process improvements.

Support part fabrication activities as needed; root cause and debug activities for door panels at Inteva Operations and Customer locations.

Support business pursuit activities as needed with technical input.

Participate in PDT Formal Design Reviews.

Work effectively in a team environment with a cross-functional team: design, tooling, CAE, quality, manufacturing, finance, purchasing, sales.

Generate RFQ’s as needed to supply base.

Support internal PDT meetings and “design issue resolution” utilizing engineering tools.

Potentially be responsible for component part product engineering deliverables: including eBOM updates and issuance of Change Requests.

Assess impact of engineering changes on the product and provide feedback to the PDT.

Participate in warranty improvement activities.
