Job: Machine Operator

Location: Highland, NY

Pay: $18/hour

Job Type: Full Time, Temp to Perm (Union once Perm)

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate a variety of production equipment including sheet metal punching and forming machines, drilling, tapping, cutting, bending, and sanding equipment

Operate saws (band saw, lens saw) to cut components according to specifications

Other duties as assigned Job Knowledge and Skills:

Utilize appropriate measuring tools and instruments to ensure accuracy and quality of work

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to complete assigned tasks

Experience in a manufacturing or industrial warehouse

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced continuous workflow production environment while maintaining quality standards and meeting deadlines.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English. Physical Demands:

Required to stand, walk, bend, and reach with hands and arms.

Required to use hands to handle objects

Comfortable working on feet for extended periods Work Environment:

Will be required to work in manufacturing & warehouse areas. Will be exposed to a noisy environment routinely.
