Management Accounting Manager

We are looking for a junior candidate who is motivated to start a career in finance whilst also in the process of obtaining ACCA qualification.

Overall Purpose of the Position

To perform the daily processes of the Management Accounting Unit such as the payment of invoices and reconciliations.

Moreover, responsible for maintaining the monthly accruals and prepayments for the management accounts, the monthly final withholding tax and for preparing the monthly Unit management accounts.

Operational Responsibilities

Responsible for the testing and uploading of the yearly Final Withholding tax report on the IRD’s portal.

Responsible for the monthly Final Withholding Tax reporting.

Loans and Deposits by Unit report.

Monthly Final Withholding Tax report, Loans and deposits by Unit report.

Management accounts by Unit.

Preparing the accruals and prepayments and variance analysis.

Daily reconciliation of Accounts against General Ledger.

Daily loans and deposits statistics and revaluation reserve reporting.

Supplier payments and / or refunds to staff as necessary.

Uploading of budgets on the core banking system of the Bank.

General Responsibilities

To implement and monitor performance measurement systems and other techniques benchmarking the Unit performance.

Work to exacting deadlines.

To submit any reports and/or supervise any projects and activities as may be directed.

To perform any other duties that may be reasonably assigned from time to time.

Qualifications, Skills & Competencies

Mandatory

Skill

Analytical, attention to detail.

Be meticulous in approach;

Have an eye for detail;

Have a good knowledge of MS excel and word;

Be able to work under minimum supervision.

Good writing skills

Experience

Experience in Finance environment.

Qualification

Studying ACCA or equivalent.
