Emergency Medicine Physician

We are seeking a LocumsEmergency Medicine Physician to provide coverage in a busy emergency departmentin Cambridge, Ohio. This opportunity is ideal for physicians seeking night andweekend coverage with a consistent schedule. Providers should be available for aminimum of 5 shifts per month with ongoing availability for 12+ months.

The physician willwork alongside advanced practice providers and a supportive emergencydepartment team to deliver high-quality emergency care.

Schedule

Physician Shifts:

7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Coverage Needed: Nights and weekends

Weekend Requirements: Yes

On-Call Requirements: None

Minimum Commitment: 5+ shifts per month with long-term availability

Emergency DepartmentDetails

Annual ED Volume: 24,500 - 25,500 visits

Average Daily Volume: 55-60 patients per 24 hours

Number of ED Beds: 17

ClinicalResponsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries

Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critical patients

Collaborate with advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and specialists

Document patient encounters using the MEDITECH EMR system

Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Board Certified in Emergency Medicine

Active Ohio medical license

Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Medicine experience

Current certifications:

ACLS

ATLS

BLS

PALS

COVID-19 vaccination required
