Lead SAP PPDS Solution Consultant

Job Description:

Work on onshore/ Offshore model

Good Communication Skills both written and verbal.

Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy

Understand customer, translate business needs to definition and design also cascade effectively to offshore team to get the work done effectively and timely

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, information systems or related field, or equivalent work experience is required

10 – 15 Yrs Manufacturing/Automotive domain experience preferred.

Experience implementing Production Planning solutions (SAP ePP/DS) in an Automotive, manufacturing or any discrete industry is required.

In depth experience in SAP – Production Planning and Detail Scheduling capabilities - interactive production planning, Detailed scheduling, Pegging, Production Planning table, Planning board, constraint-based planning, Model Mix Planning, Multilevel Scheduling and sequencing is required.

Experience with E2E Supply Chain processes (e.g., Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Inventory Management) is desired

Experience in Cross-Location Planning, Automated Responses to changes in planning situation Multi-Level Constraint based Production Plan, Sub-daily Buckets, Telescopic Time Buckets, Time Dependent Safety Stock is required

Experience in Automotive manufacturing or Repetitive manufacturing industry is preferred.

Excellent communication skills to present complex ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Exceptional social skills; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of team members at all levels of the organization.

NOTE from Hiring Manager:

Location: Troy, Michigan 48098 (100% onsite preferred but open to remote candidate in EST or CST time zone that understand they will have occasional travel (by request only) to Troy Michigan or Mexico (Mexico travel is totally based on milestone and go-live)

Candidate must have owned and led at least one end-to-end implementation from initiation through delivery.

We need candidates with strong hands-on SAP PPDS experience.

Must have Optimizer experience.

Excellent communication skills.

Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS) - It is a key component part of SAP S/4HANA Advanced Planning used for detailed capacity planning, scheduling, heuristics, and optimizing production orders.

PPDS (and not just PP) is the critical need here – this is a key part of SAP S/4HANA Advanced Planning.
