Duties of the Quality Director:

Direct the quality assurance department and manage quality personnel

Ensure products comply with industry, company, and customer quality standards

Create a proactive approach to quality assurance

Work with customers to resolve quality issues

Document quality employee performance and suggest ways to improve

Assist with new product and program launches

Manage all quality documentation (PPAPs, control plans, etc.)

Upgrade and refine Quality Management Systems

Required experience for the Quality Director includes:

A Bachelor`s Degree is necessary

Proven experience as a Quality Manager in manufacturing is needed

Strong leadership skills and customer relationship skills
