CDL A Hazmat Driver Overnight Routes (Full-Time, Contract-to-Hire)

Location: Kyle, TX (On-site)

Pay: $34.00–$35.00/hour

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours + ~8 hours overtime/week)

Overview

We are seeking experienced CDL A Hazmat Drivers to support overnight transportation of hazardous materials. This role is ideal for safety-focused drivers who are comfortable working night shifts and operating multiple trailer types in a highly regulated environment.

You will play a critical role in ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient transportation while maintaining strict adherence to federal and Texas DOT regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Safely transport hazardous materials during overnight routes

Operate various equipment including:

Flatbeds

Refrigerated trailers (reefers)

Dry vans

Ensure full compliance with federal and Texas DOT regulations

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections (DVIRs)

Maintain accurate logs and required documentation

Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding routes, delays, and issues

Schedule & Shifts

Sunday–Wednesday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Wednesday–Saturday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Average: 40 regular hours + ~8 hours overtime per week

Requirements

Valid CDL A license with Hazmat endorsement (required)

Minimum 2 years of Hazmat driving experience

Minimum 2 years of overnight/night driving experience

Experience operating flatbeds, reefers, and dry vans

Strong knowledge of Texas DOT regulations and compliance

Clean driving record and strong safety mindset
