About the Opportunity
This role supports mission-critical, secure environments where automation, reliability, and innovation are essential. As a ServiceNow Developer focused on Integrated Risk Management (IRM) and Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), you will design, develop, and optimize scalable solutions that align risk, compliance, and portfolio execution with enterprise strategy. You’ll partner closely with business and technical stakeholders to drive governance, risk visibility, and value-driven outcomes while ensuring platform best practices, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable, maintainable solutions within ServiceNow IRM and SPM.
Own end-to-end solution delivery: requirements translation, design, build, test, deploy, and continuous improvement.
Rapidly design and optimize automated workflows using Flow Designer to reduce manual effort.
Build customer-facing portals and self-service capabilities to enhance user experience.
Integrate ServiceNow with internal/external systems using Integration Hub and REST/SOAP APIs; maintain bi-directional data sync where needed.
Leverage Now Assist and AI capabilities to drive intelligent automation and actionable insights.
Create and maintain service catalog items with automated fulfillment; implement notifications and alerts.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define scalable technical solutions; write clean, maintainable code and supporting documentation.
Develop and execute test cases; stay current with ServiceNow releases and apply enhancements.
Required Qualifications
U.S. Citizen only (no dual citizenship).
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
5 years of ServiceNow development experience in enterprise environments.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow IRM and SPM.
Strong experience with Flow Designer and workflow automation.
Integration Hub and REST/SOAP API development (JSON); proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.
Knowledge of CSM and ITSM modules.
Solid understanding of ITIL processes; familiarity with Agile/Scrum.
Preferred Qualifications
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or equivalent hands-on experience.
Experience with Now Assist and AI-powered automation.
Experience implementing bi-directional system integrations.
ITIL certification.
Work Environment
Remote role supporting secure, mission-critical operations. Collaborative team culture with cross-functional stakeholders and an emphasis on standardization, quality, and continuous improvement. Potential to convert to full-time after approximately one year based on performance and business need.
