A highly respected Philadelphia and New York based law firm is seeking a Trusts & Estates Attorney with at least 5 years of experience to join its growing private client practice. The firm is known for its strong bench of attorneys who have transitioned from top AmLaw and BigLaw firms and for offering a genuinely entrepreneurial platform without the traditional BigLaw constraints.

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for an attorney who values high-quality work, direct client relationships, and long-term professional autonomy. The firm provides meaningful support for attorneys interested in building and expanding a book of business, while also offering a sustainable, low-billable-hour environment.

Key Responsibilities

Advise high-net-worth individuals and families on estate planning, trust formation, and wealth transfer strategies

Draft and administer complex trusts, wills, and related estate planning documents

Handle estate and trust administration matters

Collaborate with attorneys across corporate, tax, and real estate practices as needed

Participate in business development efforts with institutional support and mentorship

Qualifications

JD from an accredited law school

Active Pennsylvania or New York bar admission (or ability to waive in)

Experience in trusts and estates, estate planning, and/or trust and estate administration

Strong drafting, analytical, and client-facing skills

Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in practice growth (existing book of business welcomed but not required)

Compensation and Benefits:

Full-time, hybrid

Salary range: $190,000-$245,000 annually + performance bonuses
