Bridgeway Academy is seeking a full time Manager to manage the ongoing operations of the Applied Program. This role will focus on providing support, mentorship, development, coaching, observation, and feedback of classroom lead and co-teachers in promoting student success as designated by the Director and in accordance with the BACB, state board of Psychology Rules, FCBDD, ODEW, and any other governing body.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Team Collaboration & Staff Development: Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to support student programming. Provide coaching, modeling, observations, and feedback on instruction, behavior support, data collection, and reporting. Mentor lead teachers through regular meetings focused on student progress, classroom and staff management, and problem-solving.
Classroom & Program Oversight: Support classroom structure and organization through action planning and problem resolution. Oversee educational, functional life skills, vocational, and community-based programming in collaboration with support team members. Guide staff in implementing effective instructional and behavioral strategies to improve student outcomes.
Assessment, Planning & Data Management: Develop and implement skill acquisition and behavior intervention plans. Conduct assessments and ensure implementation of evidence-based strategies. Establish and monitor data collection systems to ensure accuracy and inform decision-making under Director guidance.
Behavior Support & Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention as needed and ensure consistent implementation of behavior support strategies across classrooms.
Documentation & Compliance: Develop, maintain, and monitor Franklin County treatment plans, crisis plans, and behavior support plans in alignment with program and regulatory requirements.
Family & Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with parents and other stakeholders regarding student progress and behavior support; provide consultation as needed. Support IEP, ETR, and Transition Plan processes and attend meetings as requested.
Supervision & Additional Responsibilities: Provide supervision to RBTs and, when eligible, BCaBA/BCBA supervisees in accordance with BACB requirements. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director or CEO.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in a related field such as Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or Education.
Current BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and COBA certification through the Ohio Board of Psychology.
Strong verbal, nonverbal, written, and active listening communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Will skillfully manage both small and large group settings including individuals effectively.
