Position Title: Maintenance Associate

Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor / Operations Manager
Location: Operations Facility
Job Purpose
The Maintenance Associate is responsible for supporting the maintenance and upkeep of equipment, machinery, and facility infrastructure to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations. The role ensures that all maintenance activities comply with company safety standards and operational requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Perform routine inspection, servicing, and preventative maintenance on production equipment and facility infrastructure.
Diagnose faults and carry out minor mechanical, electrical, and plumbing repairs.
Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests to minimize operational downtime.
Maintain maintenance records, logs, and reports for equipment servicing and repairs.
Ensure proper use, storage, and maintenance of tools and equipment.
Conduct routine checks of building systems including lighting, plumbing, refrigeration, and air-conditioning.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
Support facility improvement projects and emergency repair work as required.
Perform any other related duties assigned by management.
Qualifications and Experience
Certificate or vocational training in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Maintenance, or a related field.
Minimum of 1–3 years’ experience in maintenance or a similar technical role.
Experience in a food production, catering, hospitality, or industrial environment would be an asset.
Skills and Competencies
Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to respond to urgent maintenance issues efficiently.
Working Conditions
Work may require standing for extended periods, lifting equipment, and working in production areas.
May involve shift work, weekends, or emergency call-outs when necessary.
