As the Landscape Maintenance Account Manager, you will oversee maintenance operations across multiple properties, lead crews, and serve as the key point of contact for clients. This is a client-facing, hands-on leadership role requiring both horticultural knowledge and strong organizational skills. You’ll be empowered with a company vehicle, mobile devices, and autonomy to manage your day effectively.

Job Purpose:

The Landscape Maintenance Account Manager is responsible for generating new maintenance contracts, managing existing client accounts, and ensure a smooth transition from sales to production. This role involves overseeing and coordinating with maintenance crews on daily activities and job execution. The position includes both in-office responsibilities and regular travel to job sites and client locations.

Key qualifications:

Valid driver’s license (required)

Degree in horticulture, landscape management, or a related field OR minimum 3 years’ experience in landscape maintenance management

Proven ability to schedule, route, and supervise landscape maintenance crews efficiently

Strong understanding of horticultural practices including pruning, mulching, fertilization, turf care, and seasonal planting

Proficient in Microsoft Office; comfortable with mobile technology and digital communication

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Bilingual or Spanish-speaking is a plus

Conduct weekly site visits to ensure quality control and client satisfaction

Train and coach field staff on industry best practices and safety protocols

Oversee daily operations, including timesheet collection and crew reviews

Coordinate delivery of materials and ensure proper equipment use and maintenance

Supervise snow removal activities during winter months

Maintain professional communication with clients, both onsite and via email

Relay client needs and feedback to internal teams to ensure alignment and satisfaction

Pursue continuing education to stay current with industry trends and innovation
