Description:

HEPCO Inc. is seeking Field Construction Engineers to support a major infrastructure project at Newark Airport. This is a hands-on role working closely with project leadership and field teams to drive execution from planning through closeout.

Review project plans and assist in developing construction schedules

Coordinate subcontractors for procurement and pre-construction activities

Prepare work packages and support pre-construction meetings

Oversee daily field operations, including layout and quality control

Manage RFIs, submittals, and subcontractor communication

Track project progress, schedules, and overall performance

Identify and address site risks, issues, and changing conditions

Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Support project closeout, documentation, and final deliverables

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

3–4+ years of civil construction or field engineering experience

Knowledge of OSHA and federal safety regulations

Experience with project controls, estimating, and scheduling (CPM)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Primavera P6
