Job Description

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:

Understand and follow Malco’s Quality Policy and Quality Objectives.

Understand and follow procedures and work instructions applicable to the job function.

Understand and follow all company policies in the Malco Hourly Employee Handbook and MEIU Union contract policies.

Ability to identify quality issues and make supervisor and / or lab personnel aware.

Use Personal Protective Equipment as required and follows all safety rules as outlined in Right to Know information and Company safety policies.

Keeps work area clean and neat following housekeeping procedures.

Fill drums and pails of various sizes; operate 5 and 55-gallon liquid filling equipment.

Skid finished bulk products.

Fill out all quality documentation and production reports.

Operate Line 401 Rotoformer including machine adjustments for quality pastilles, drumming off pastilles when line is down and cleaning entire system.

Perform any related duties as needed by supervision such as utility, machine operator, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to work all overtime as needed for the successful operation of the plant.

Must have good reading and writing skills / must be able to perform simple arithmetic.

Must be capable of following verbal and written instructions.

Ability to work as part of the production team.

Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Must be able to manually palletize and move full 400# drums.

Must successfully pass any required testing.

May be required to temporarily transfer between plants and / or shift based on business needs.
