Job Description

Required skills: Microsoft Office Suite (data entry in spreadsheets), manufacturing background, forklift, high school diploma/GED

Preferred skills: chemical experience, experience with pumps/valves, PLC experience, lockout/tagout

JD:

An Operator I supporting the Production team is an entry level manufacturing role focused on safe, accurate, and efficient chemical production and packaging. Operator I roles consistently support blending, packaging, material handling, and production operations under established safety and quality standards.

Supports chemical production operations by staging materials, assisting with blending activities, and ensuring production inputs are available when needed

Packages finished chemical products into drums, totes, or other containers, applies labels and barcodes, and verifies product identification and accuracy

Operates forklifts and production equipment to move raw materials and finished goods safely throughout the facility

Follows strict EHS, OSHA, DOT, and company safety procedures, including proper handling of hazardous materials and use of PPE

Maintains production documentation, including logs, forms, and basic data entry in systems

Performs housekeeping and equipment checks to keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards

Communicates issues or discrepancies to production leads, blend operators, or supervisors and assists with troubleshooting as needed
