Talent Works International is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Outpatient Psychiatry for a job in Yakima, Washington.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: PsychiatryDiscipline: Nurse PractitionerDuration: Ongoing40 hours per weekShift: 8 hours, daysEmployment Type: Staff Now offering up to $15,000 hiring bonus for full-time new hires, prorated by scheduled work hours!What are we looking for in a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner?Our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners are part of a multidisciplinary team that provides integrated behavioral health treatment to clients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Collaborating with therapists, case managers, nurses and other members the treatment team, Nurse Practitioners assist in the development of an individualized treatment plan for each client.

Taking ownership of the pharmacological intervention, Nurse Practitioners complete psychiatric evaluations, prescribe appropriate medications, and provide general medical counseling and referrals.

Our medical provider team has the opportunity to meet monthly to staff cases and receives regular supervision from the Chief Medical Officer.

In this role, strong communication skills, the desire to work in a collaborative team environment, and the ability to establish trusting relationships with clients will be essential.

This position will serve adults and senior adults receiving treatment in outpatient and residential treatment facilities.

This role will require local travel approximately 1 day per week.
