About the Role

VGS Architects is seeking a skilled BIM Architect to support our U.S.-based projects for clients managed through our Atlanta office. The ideal candidate should have strong architectural knowledge, excellent Revit proficiency, and the ability to produce high-quality architectural drawings in accordance with American standards, with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed architectural drawings and documentation using Revit, ensuring compliance with U.S. standards.

Review client inputs and understand project scope to plan and execute work efficiently.

Develop and modify custom Revit families as per project requirements.

Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to meet project timelines and quality expectations.

Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy, clarity, and attention to detail in all deliverables.

Apply BIM best practices to improve workflow efficiency and project outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.

Minimum 1 year of experience in architectural design and Building Information Modeling (BIM).

Strong proficiency in Revit is mandatory.

Knowledge of AutoCAD and other related software is an added advantage.

Good understanding of architectural drafting standards and construction documentation.

Prior exposure to American architectural standards is highly preferred.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines consistently.

Required Skills

Strong expertise in architectural design and construction documentation.

Advanced Revit skills, including creating and modifying custom families.

Solid understanding of BIM workflows, coordination, and documentation processes.

Excellent attention to detail, technical accuracy, and problem-solving ability.

Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Familiarity with U.S. construction and design standards is a strong advantage.
