THE UPS STORE #7584 located at 6311 Haggerty Rd, West Bloomfield is HIRING! We are looking for FULL TIME Customer Service Associates with proven customer service experience and willing to become a long-term employee of our company. Our store is open 7 days a week. Weekends are scheduled on a rotation basis. Starting pay is $15/hr. Our primary responsibility is to deliver world-class customer service to our customers.
UPS Customer Service Associate Responsibilities:
Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication
Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tool
Manage incoming calls
Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
Go the extra mile to engage customers
UPS Customer Service Associate Skills:
Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
Computer applications and internet knowledge required. Adobe experience preferred, but not required.
Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
Familiarity with Customer Service Management systems and practices
Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for entire shift
High school degree or equivalent
Job Types: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Shift:
8:00 am - 4:00 pm
11:00 am - 7:00 pm
Weekend availability (10-5 Sat/10-3 Sun)
Part-time
