Staff Supervision and Leadership
Mentor Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to deliver person-centered, high-quality care.
Oversee care 5-7 residential homes in Hagerstown and Frederick County insuring high standards.
Cultivate a culture of accountability, professionalism, and person-centered service.
Optimize staff scheduling to ensure compliance with, and maintenance of, meeting individuals’ ratios.
Evaluate staff performance through formal reviews and in-person meetings.
Person-Centered Plan Oversight
Oversee full implementation of individual Person-Centered Plans (PCPs), ensuring goals are met and preferences prioritized.
Drive the PCP process through active participation in meetings and collaboration with the individuals team.
Implement behavior support plans to maintain safety.
Monitor documentation and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with individual support plans/regulations are met.
Compliance
Ensure compliance with DDA regulations and COMAR standards.
Conduct audits of caseload, daily progress notes, and staff documentation.
Promote professional relationships with families, service coordinators, and DDA/OHCQ representatives.
Resolve concerns promptly and professionally, prioritizing individual needs.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of DDA residential services experience.
Supervisory: Experience in staff supervision and leadership preferred.
Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in human services or related field required.Company Description
