Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to operate and manage a total of three different machines simultaneously. This role involves working with aerospace machine parts that support major projects like Space X. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting their own parts and ensuring quality standards are met. The position is primarily for the 2nd shift, focusing on completing work orders initiated by the 1st shift. You should be comfortable working with travelers and familiar with ERP systems like Proshop.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain Doosan CNC Lathes with Fanuc Controls.

Simultaneously manage three different machines.

Inspect machined parts utilizing micrometers, height gauges, drop gauges, and precision gauge pins.

Problem-solve and troubleshoot any machine errors.

Learn and adapt to different parts and machine operations, including G code and manual machine operations.

Ensure quality control by inspecting own parts.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in CNC machine operations.

Ability to read blueprints and use calipers.

Experience with operating and maintaining Doosan CNC Lathes with Fanuc Controls.

Familiarity with 3-axis machining.

Strong inspection skills using micrometers, height gauges, drop gauges, and precision gauge pins.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Comfortable with ERP systems, particularly Proshop.

Experience working with travelers.

Ability to work the 2nd shift from 1pm to 9:30pm, with overtime available daily and on Saturdays.

Familiarity with ITAR compliance.
