Duties

Safely operate heavy-duty trucks, flatbeds, and specialized oilfield transport vehicles, across diverse terrains and conditions

Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulatory standards

Load and unload equipment, materials, and supplies efficiently while adhering to safety protocols

Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance records

Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws to prevent accidents and ensure the well-being of yourself and others

Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site personnel, and other drivers to coordinate schedules and resolve issues promptly

Assist in routine vehicle maintenance or report repairs needed to keep trucks in optimal condition

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for oilfield trucking operations

Proven experience operating heavy trucks in an industrial or oilfield setting

Strong understanding of safety regulations, including OSHA standards and DOT requirements

Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and responsibility

Ability to perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading equipment and inspecting vehicles

Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and site personnel

Knowledge of GPS navigation systems and route planning for efficient deliveries
