Job Description

Lead a Team That Changes Lives

We’re seeking a dynamic, mission-driven leader to oversee our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team—an evidence-based program supporting individuals with serious mental illness in the community.

As Program Manager, you’ll guide a multidisciplinary team delivering high-impact, community-based care that reduces hospitalizations and helps people build stable, independent lives.

This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, values teamwork, and is passionate about improving systems of care.

What You’ll Do

Team Leadership & Supervision

· Supervise and support a multidisciplinary team (therapists, nurses, case managers, peer specialists)

· Provide clinical and administrative oversight

· Coach staff to manage complex cases and crisis situations

· Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and resilience

Program Operations

· Ensure fidelity to the ACT model and best practices

· Monitor caseloads, staffing ratios, and service delivery

· Oversee scheduling, coverage, and daily team meetings

· Manage program performance metrics and outcomes

Quality & Compliance

· Ensure compliance with state, federal, and payer requirements

· Prepare for audits and maintain documentation standards

· Implement continuous quality improvement initiatives

Community & System Coordination

· Collaborate with hospitals, courts, housing providers, and community partners

· Support referrals, admissions, and transitions of care

· Represent the program in community meetings and stakeholder groups

Why This Role Matters

· You’ll directly impact both client outcomes and staff retention

· You’ll shape team culture in a high-need, high-impact setting

· You’ll have the autonomy to improve systems—not just maintain them

What We’re Looking For

· Independent clinical license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.)

· 3–5+ years of experience in community mental health or ACT (or similar programs)

· Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred

· Strong crisis management and decision-making skills

· Ability to balance clinical, administrative, and operational demands

What We Offer

· Competitive salary & Bonus

· Clinical supervision and leadership development opportunities

· Supportive executive leadership and manageable span of control

· autonomy in program management

· Generous PTO + holidays

The Kind of Leader Who Thrives Here

· Calm under pressure and confident in crisis situations

· Able to support staff without micromanaging

· Organized but flexible in a constantly changing environment

· Passionate about serving high-need populations

· Committed to building and retaining strong teams
