Requirements:

Possession of a Masters or higher degree with emphasis on occupational therapy

Valid registration by the American Occupational Therapy Association and/or the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy

FL licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist

Conduct assessments and provide therapy to students

Develop and implement treatment plans to address students' individual needs

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote students' academic and social success

Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
