Job Title: Certified Compounding Pharmacy TechnicianJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Compounding Pharmacy Technician to expertly mix IV and other pharmaceutical preparations using sterile compounding techniques. The ideal candidate will adhere to established protocols to ensure safe and effective drug preparation.Responsibilities

Mix pharmaceutical preparations using proper sterile compounding techniques.

Follow all documented instructions, warnings, procedures, and best practices.

Perform environmental monitoring, sanitation, and testing activities as per federal and state pharmacy regulations and USP-797 standards.

Maintain accurate drug inventory through purchasing, receiving, stocking, pulling, counting, and tracking.

Enter home medication lists and lab results into CPR+ for patient profiles when available.

Clean the ante-room and cleanroom areas following USP-797 standards.

Maintain cleanroom logs and verify lot numbers to check inventory accuracy.

Provide on-call support as needed.

Complete a competency verification plan upon hire and annually thereafter.

Uphold confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.Essential Skills

Pharmacy expertise, particularly in compounding.

Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (Cpht).

Experience in a clinical or compounding setting.

Familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations.

Strong organizational and inventory management skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with sterile compounding techniques and USP-797 guidelines.

Commitment to confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards.Work Environment

You will be part of a small team helping to start a brand-new pharmacy in Ohio. The work schedule is flexible, Monday to Friday, with hours between 8am-5pm. This is an exciting opportunity to grow with a new business in a supportive and innovative environment.Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Worthington, OH.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
