Pay: Starting at $22-$23 per hour

Schedule:

1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00AM or 8:00AM start - 3:30PM or 4:30PM end

Job Details

This position supports production by processing materials and performing duties related to receiving, stocking, issuing, and shipping materials and supplies. The ideal candidate will have strong forklift experience, including PIT truck and Reach truck experience, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Support production by pulling and delivering all materials necessary to complete shop orders

Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently

Support receiving by verifying materials against invoices and stocking components in designated locations

Verify and maintain accurate product identification and counts

Prepare inventory records and investigate discrepancies

Perform weigh counts and store materials appropriately

Obtain, move, sort, and package products and materials

Maintain organization and follow all safety protocols

Qualifications / Requirements

Minimum 1 year of related warehouse or material handling experience

Strong forklift experience highly preferred

High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge of warehouse management systems required

Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office

PIT equipment experience highly preferred

Ability to multitask and follow written and verbal instructions

Strong safety awareness and sound judgment regarding potential hazards

Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check

Physical Demands

20% clerical/planning and 80% material handling, machine operations, walking, and assisting production employees

Work primarily on the manufacturing floor with moderate to high noise levels (hearing protection may be required)

Eye and foot protection may be required

Regular lifting up to 30 lbs; occasional lifting up to 45 lbs

Potential exposure to extreme temperatures

Occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, grasping, and coordinated movement

Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods
