Technical Support Services encompass the specialized Level 2 intervention required to maintain operational uptime. This role facilitates the end-to-end resolution of hardware failures and software bottlenecks, ensuring all critical assets—from the server rack to the desktop—remain performant.
Functional Mandates
Ecosystem Oversight: Deliver holistic support for Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
Infrastructure Health: Execute deep-dive diagnostics on core applications and the Microsoft 365 suite.
Deployment Logistics: Manage the physical staging, lifecycle upgrades, and technical auditing of all workstation hardware.
Connectivity Management: Administer essential network protocols, including VPN tunnels, firewall rules, and TCP/IP configurations.
Automated Administration: Utilize SCCM for rapid software distribution and endpoint compliance.
Workflow Coordination: Drive high-velocity incident resolution through ServiceNow or BMC Remedy.
Identity Governance: Manage user lifecycle and security permissions via Active Directory.
Professional Requirements
Field Expertise: Proven background in deskside engineering with a "client-first" mindset.
Network Proficiency: Hands-on experience with DNS, Cisco Meraki, and Windows Server management.
Policy & Documentation: Competency in GPO administration and tracking progress within Jira.
Advanced Troubleshooting: Sharp analytical skills for complex problem-solving.
Virtualization: Exposure to VDI or virtual desktop frameworks is highly advantageous.
