We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional technical support and troubleshooting for end-users, ensuring efficient operation of computer systems and networks. This role requires strong customer service skills and a solid understanding of various operating systems, software applications, and IT infrastructure.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in basic troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices (printers, scanners, etc.)
Knowledgeable in installation and configuration of Windows and Mac operating systems
Familiar with user account management, including Active Directory and Office 365
Understanding of networking fundamentals such as LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi setup, IP configuration, and VPN support
Basic knowledge of server management, including user access, shared folders, and permissions
Experience installing and troubleshooting standard business applications
Comfortable using remote support tools such as RDP and TeamViewer
