The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Set up and adjust press machinery, including dies and tooling, according to production specifications.

Operate various types of presses (e.g., hydraulic, mechanical, stamping) to produce parts.

Monitor press operations for quality, speed, and accuracy, making adjustments as needed.

Perform routine maintenance checks and minor repairs on press equipment.

Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules.

Load and unload materials into presses, ensuring proper material handling.

Conduct quality inspections of finished parts to ensure adherence to specifications.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience operating and setting up various types of manufacturing presses (e.g., stamping, hydraulic, CNC).

Strong mechanical aptitude for machine setup, adjustments, and minor troubleshooting.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.

Experience with quality control procedures and the use of precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).

Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

Forklift certification

Experience performing preventative maintenance or minor machine repairs

Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or 5S methodologies

Proficiency in advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparator)
