Gastroenterology Physician

Opportunity Highlights

Schedule: Call coverage Friday, July 24, 2026, beginning at 1pm through Monday, July 27 ending at 6am. 24-hour shifts. 1 day of orientation.

Job Setting: Hospital. Trauma Level 3.

Types of Cases: Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), and injection of varices; Esophageal dilatation/manometry; Esophageal manometry interpretation; Small Bowel biopsy; Lower GI endoscopy; Sigmoidoscopy (Flexible and Rigid); Colonoscopy with biopsy and excision of polyp; Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube.

Credentialing: 120 days

Minimum Requirements

Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required

Certifications: ACLS, BLS

Licensure: Mississippi state license required, will consider IMLC
