Architectural Millwork Molder Operator

Job Summary South Shore Millwork is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Architectural Millwork Molder Operator to operate and maintain a Weinig 6-Head Molder in our custom millwork facility in Norton, MA.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural woodwork, precision machining, and quality craftsmanship to produce high-end moldings, profiles, and custom millwork components.

Key Responsibilities * Set up, operate, and adjust a Weinig 6-head molder for production runs * Read and interpret shop drawings, profiles, and work orders * Select, install, and align cutter heads and tooling to meet specifications * Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout production * Perform routine maintenance, blade changes, and troubleshooting * Inspect finished products for accuracy, finish, and consistency * Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards * Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and deadlines Qualifications * 2+ years of experience operating a Weinig or similar industrial molder (preferred) * Strong understanding of architectural millwork and custom profiles * Ability to read blueprints, CAD drawings, and profile templates * Knowledge of cutter head setup, tooling, feed speeds, and material handling * Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Preferred Skills * Experience in high-end architectural or custom millwork shops * Familiarity with hardwoods, softwoods, and composite materials * Preventative maintenance and troubleshooting experience Benefits * Competitive pay based on experience * Health, dental, and vision insurance * Paid time off and holidays * Retirement plan options * Opportunities for growth and advancement within South Shore Millwork
